You're Brilliant at Your Job. You're a Good Mum. And You Are Absolutely Exhausted.
If you've been searching for a way to escape from your life and then immediately talked yourself out of it - this post is for you. I’ve created a women’s retreat, Glastonbury UK just for you.
You are the woman who gets things done. You are the one people call when something needs sorting. You hold the brief, you hold the team together, and at home you hold everything else. You are, by any measure, exceptional at what you do.
And you are running on empty.
Not in a way that shows. You're still delivering. Still performing. Still being the person everyone needs you to be. But somewhere underneath all of that, something has gone quiet. The version of you that used to have energy left over - that version is hard to find right now.
Weekends don't touch it. Holidays are just a change of location where you're still the one planning everything. What you actually need is three days where nobody needs anything from you and you have no decisions to make.
You won't give that to yourself. I know this because I work with women like you every day. So I'm giving it to you.
The Sanctuary: A Women's Retreat in Glastonbury UK, October 2026
Three days. A private farmhouse near Glastonbury in Somerset. Twelve women. All food cooked for you. No agenda. No one needing anything from you.
You turn up. You get looked after. You stop.
I'm running this women's retreat with Alexe Woods, who is a somatic coach and facilitator. Alexe works with yoga, yoga nidra and astrology - and before you skip past that last word, this is not mysterious. It is a practical, logical framework for understanding how your energy works. What cycles affect you. Why you feel sharp some weeks and completely flat others, even when nothing has gone wrong. Why the fourth quarter of the year feels like wading through concrete.
Alexe will look at your birth chart and give you something specific and useful - not a vague insight, an actual plan. Something simple that fits around the life you already have and gives you more energy, not more to do. You'll have time on the retreat to sit with it properly, which is the thing that never happens when you're at your desk.
There's also a sauna. Really good food. Beautiful Somerset countryside. And twelve women around you who understand exactly what your life is like, because they're living a version of it too.
The objection I hear most from incredible women like you
I can't justify three days away…..
I hear this from the most capable women I know. Women who would never question the value of a client trip, a training course, a conference. Women who would book those without a second thought. But three days for themselves? That requires a case to be made.
It doesn't. You don't need to justify rest any more than you need to justify sleep.
The women who feel the most guilty about taking time for themselves are almost always the ones who need it most. Not because they're failing - because they've been performing at a level that isn't sustainable, for longer than they'd like to admit.
High achievers are particularly good at not noticing this until something forces them to stop. This is an invitation to stop before that happens.
Is this the right women's retreat in Glastonbury UK for you?
This retreat is for you if you've been telling yourself you'll rest when the next project lands, the next promotion comes through, the kids are a bit older, things calm down. And things haven't calmed down.
It's for you if you're doing everything right and still feeling like something is missing. It's for you if you want to come home as yourself - not a different version, just the version that isn't running on fumes.
What you come home with
You come home rested. That sounds simple and it is but it's also the thing that changes everything else.
You also come home with something practical: a real understanding of how your energy works and a simple plan to protect it. Not a list of new habits to add to your already full schedule. A way of working with how you're actually wired, so that the life you're already living feels less relentless.
