Future Events
Every quarter, Next Generation Women in Law brings women from across the legal profession together for the conversations we do not always get space for: the honest ones about leadership, ambition, confidence, motherhood, boundaries and what it really takes to build a sustainable career in law.
These in-person gatherings are designed to be more than networking. They are spaces for real connection, thoughtful discussion and practical insight from women who understand the realities of working in the profession today.
Between our quarterly events, we keep the conversation going through online sessions and guest speakers, so you can stay connected, supported and inspired wherever you are.
This page shares what is coming up next, so you can plan ahead and be part of a community that is genuinely here to support you.

The One With The Male Allies
It may seem a bit weird to be inviting men along to a Women In Law event. However, the reality is that many of the people shaping culture, progression and day-to-day experience in law are still men. If we want things to change, we need more than good intentions. We need honest conversations and a better understanding of what women are actually experiencing.
Panel Breakfast
Phil Barnsley (Partner and Head of Family Law, Higgs LLP);
Kashmir Uppal (Partner at Fletchers Group); and
Des Burley (Co-founder of Burley Law).
The panel have generously given their time to answer your questions and share their real experiences of being an ally and receiving support from one.
The morning includes hot drinks, a hot breakfast, and space for real conversation before and after the panel. You can submit questions in advance and ask them on the day.
Why join us?
Because there are questions you think about that don’t always have a safe or appropriate place at work. Questions about progression, pressure, confidence, leadership, motherhood, ambition, politics, pace and whether the way you’re doing this is sustainable for you.

This breakfast gives you rare access to senior women who are willing to speak honestly about how they’ve navigated those realities. Not with hindsight gloss or career-advice clichés, but with clarity and experience hard-won over time.
You’ll leave with perspective that helps you make sense of your own choices, language you can use in real situations, and a clearer sense of what could be possible next, without needing to perform, compete, or prove anything to anyone.
This is time well spent: thoughtful conversation, intelligent insight, and a room full of women who understand the profession from the inside.
The proceeds from the event will be given to The Hunger Project, a charity that works with communities to realise their own future, free from hunger and poverty.
