Future Events
Every quarter, we bring women from across the legal profession together to have the conversations we don’t usually get space for; the honest ones about leadership, ambition, motherhood, and what it really takes to build a sustainable career in law.
In between these in-person gatherings, NGW in Law also runs online sessions and invites guest speakers to keep the momentum going.
This page sets out what’s coming up next, so you can plan ahead and stay connected to a community that’s genuinely here to support you.
Wednesday 4 February 2026, 8:30 - 10:30am
(Trowers & Hamlins office, Birmingham)
Join us for a morning of honest insight, laughter, and the kind of conversations that remind you you’re not alone in this profession.
Panel Breakfast
Sabina Kauser (partner at Ward Hadaway and Deputy Vice President of Birmingham Law Society);
Yetunde Dania (partner and head of office - Birmingham at Trowers & Hamlins); and
Zahra Pabani Partner at Irwin Mitchell).
The panel have generously given their time to answer your questions and share their real experiences; the successes, the challenges, and the parts that rarely get spoken about. Expect straight-talking, thoughtful reflections and practical insights.
The morning includes hot drinks, a hot breakfast, and space for real conversation before and after the panel. You can submit questions in advance and ask them on the day.
Why join us?
Because there are questions you think about that don’t always have a safe or appropriate place at work. Questions about progression, pressure, confidence, leadership, motherhood, ambition, politics, pace and whether the way you’re doing this is sustainable for you.
This breakfast gives you rare access to senior women who are willing to speak honestly about how they’ve navigated those realities. Not with hindsight gloss or career-advice clichés, but with clarity and experience hard-won over time.
You’ll leave with perspective that helps you make sense of your own choices, language you can use in real situations, and a clearer sense of what could be possible next, without needing to perform, compete, or prove anything to anyone.
This is time well spent: thoughtful conversation, intelligent insight, and a room full of women who understand the profession from the inside.
The proceeds from the event will be split equally between Acacia Family Support and Let's Feed Brum.
