I’m Mandy Rees, a leadership coach for lawyer mums and a culture strategist for organisations.

I know the professional world from the inside. For 14 years I worked as a commercial real estate lawyer at Eversheds Sutherland, eight of those as a working mother. I understand the deadlines, the client pressures, and the constant juggle of trying to be brilliant in court or chambers while also being present at home.

That lived experience, alongside my training as a One of Many™ Certified Coach, is what drives the work I do today.

I coach ambitious lawyer mums who want to succeed in their careers and thrive in their motherhood, without tearing themselves in two. My flagship programme, The Brilliant Both Blueprint, gives women the clarity, confidence, and strategies to feel proud of both parts of their lives.

Alongside this, I partner with forward-thinking law firms and professional services organisations to retain and advance female talent. My approach is simple but powerful: uncover the real barriers that hold women back, create psychologically safe spaces for honest dialogue, and deliver strategies that lead to lasting cultural change.

My own return to practice after maternity leave, while quietly battling postnatal depression, changed the course of my life. It showed me how easily capable women can doubt themselves, question their belonging, and even step back from leadership they’re more than ready for.

That’s why the spaces I create today are honest, safe, and designed for change; for women individually, and for the organisations they work in.

Because when mums feel supported, everyone benefits: women, families, and the firms that need their leadership.
